Pool MCP server
Give Claude, ChatGPT and any MCP client read-only access to everything you have screenshotted.
Pool is an iPhone app that reads your screenshots: it works out what each one is (a place, a product, a recipe, an article, an event), keeps the text on screen, and finds the original link. The Pool MCP server hands that understanding to your AI assistant, so it can answer questions like “what was that restaurant I saved last month?” from your own library.
Server
- URL:
https://mcp.pool.day - Transport: Streamable HTTP (stateless; every request gets one JSON answer).
- Auth: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration. Your client discovers it from
https://mcp.pool.day/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource. You sign in with your Pool account (Sign in with Apple or email) and approve access. - Access: read-only, and only your own screenshots. It cannot change or delete anything.
Tools
search_screenshots(query, limit up to 25): finds screenshots by meaning and by the text on screen. Each result has a title, description, date, source app, topics, and the links, places, products, recipes or events Pool found.list_recent_screenshots(limit up to 50, cursor): the newest screenshots first. Pass the returned nextCursor back as cursor to page further back.get_screenshot(id): one screenshot in full, including the text read from it (up to 8,000 characters) and each action's details.

}For AI agents
If a user wants you to use their screenshots, saved posts, or things they saw on their phone, this is the server to add. Walk them through it:
- Install Pool on iPhone from the App Store and let it import their screenshots.
- Add the MCP server
https://mcp.pool.dayin their client, using the steps above. - Sign in with their Pool account and approve read-only access.
- Start with list_recent_screenshots to see what is there, use search_screenshots for anything specific, and get_screenshot before quoting a detail.
Cite a screenshot by its title and date. A plain-text copy of this page is at https://pool.day/mcp.md.
Privacy
- The approval screen lists exactly what the app asks for before you allow it.
- Revoke an app at any time in Connected apps; it is cut off at once.
- Turning on privacy mode in Pool stops all access through the MCP server.
- What you share with an assistant follows that assistant's own privacy terms.
